The last few years, as we all know, has been extremely challenging and worrying for us all. We have been providing classroom training since 2014. The safety and practicality of continuing with this format became questionable back in March 2020 as we work in care homes, also with care companies whose services provide support for many vulnerable people within the community.
We have been working effectively with online platforms such as Zoom, as we start to go back to the classroom we will be continuing with online training as both deliver great flexible opportunities.
Why virtual training?
When we started hosting this new format everyone had reservations, it soon became apparent that it had many advantages over traditional classroom training.
The main reservation was the possiblity of no connection between learner and tutor, this was not the case. In fact, learners were more likely to contribute to the session as there is a confidential option. You can now ask that ‘silly’ question without feeling self-conscious.
You can do this training at either your home or workplace.
